The 2025 Nissan Patrol Y63 marks a significant evolution in the SUV’s legacy, blending robust performance with advanced technology and refined luxury. Under the hood, the Patrol offers two engine options: a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 producing 316 hp and 386 Nm of torque, and a more potent 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged V6 delivering 425 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and come with full-time four-wheel drive. The twin-turbo V6 variant accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 6.7 seconds, with a top speed limited to 200 km/h. Fuel efficiency has improved, with the twin-turbo V6 achieving around 10.1 km/l, a notable enhancement over the previous V8 model.
The 2025 Patrol features a bold exterior design, highlighted by a taller front end, a wider ‘V-motion’ grille, and new C-shaped LED headlights and daytime running lights. At the rear, double C-shaped tail lights and a prominent diffuser enhance its rugged appearance. The SUV’s dimensions have slightly increased, now measuring 5,205 mm in length and 2,030 mm in width, while maintaining a height of 1,955 mm and a wheelbase of 3,075 mm. Ground clearance stands at 253 mm, offering improved off-road capability
Inside, the Patrol boasts a luxurious cabin with premium materials, including quilted leather seats inspired by Japanese Kumiko craftsmanship. The interior is equipped with a 28.6-inch Monolith display, integrating twin 14.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, powered by Google Built-In. Additional features include a 7.0-inch head-up display, 12.3-inch rear entertainment screens, a 12-speaker Klipsch premium audio system, and a segment-first biometric climate control system that adjusts airflow based on occupants’ body temperatures.
The 2025 Patrol is equipped with Nissan’s ProPILOT suite, offering adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and predictive forward-collision warning with automatic emergency braking. Other safety features include a 3D Around View Monitor, Intelligent Emergency Braking, and seven airbags, including a knee airbag for the driver.
Designed for versatility, the Patrol includes six drive modes: Standard, Eco, Sport, Rock, Mud, and Sand. Higher trims feature adaptive air suspension that adjusts ride height based on driving conditions, enhancing both on-road comfort and off-road performance. The new ‘Invisible Bonnet’ technology provides a virtual view of the terrain ahead, aiding in navigating challenging off-road environments.
The 2025 Nissan Patrol is expected to launch in the UAE in November, with prices starting at approximately USD 65,000 (around AED 238,712). Bookings are open through Nissan’s partner network across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the Middle East.
In summary, the 2025 Nissan Patrol Y63 combines powerful performance, advanced technology, and luxurious comfort, reaffirming its position as a leading choice in the full-size SUV segment.
The 2025 Nissan Patrol Y63 is anticipated to debut in India around October 2025, with an estimated ex-showroom price of Rs 2 crore. This premium pricing reflects its status as a flagship SUV, likely to be imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), which contributes to higher costs due to import duties.
It’s worth noting that previous-generation Patrol models had a last recorded price of Rs 80 lakh in India. However, the upcoming 2025 model introduces significant upgrades, including a new twin-turbo V6 engine, advanced technology features, and enhanced off-road capabilities, justifying the higher price point.
The new Patrol is expected to compete with other luxury SUVs in the Indian market, such as the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, Mercedes-Benz G-Class, and Range Rover. Its combination of luxury, performance, and off-road prowess positions it as a formidable contender in the premium SUV segment.
