The KTM 250 Adventure is a lightweight yet capable adventure motorcycle designed for riders who seek versatility and performance. Powering the KTM 250 Adventure is a 248.76cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC engine that produces 29.63 bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and 24 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, ensuring smooth gear shifts and better control during aggressive riding. The fuel injection system enhances throttle response and fuel efficiency, making it well-suited for long rides.
KTM 250 Adventure Suspension:
The bike features WP APEX suspension, with 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, providing excellent ride comfort and handling over rough terrains. The 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels, wrapped in dual-purpose tubeless tires, offer stability and grip on both tarmac and dirt roads.
Braking duties are handled by a 320mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc, paired with dual-channel ABS with off-road mode, allowing riders to disable ABS on the rear wheel for better control in challenging conditions. The seat height of 855mm and an LED headlamp with DRLs make it a practical and premium offering in the adventure segment.
With a 14.5-liter fuel tank, the KTM 250 Adventure offers a decent riding range, making it suitable for long-distance touring. Priced at around ₹2.45 lakh (ex-showroom, India), it competes with the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Suzuki V-Strom SX 250.
