Bajaj has launched the 2025 Bajaj Chetak 3503 today, adding a new chapter to its iconic scooter lineup with modern electric mobility and a nostalgic design twist. The Chetak 3503 maintains the classic silhouette that made the original a household name, but it’s been completely re-engineered for the future with advanced electric drivetrain technology and contemporary features.
Equipped with a larger battery pack, the new Bajaj Chetak offers an improved real-world range of around 150 km on a single charge, and supports fast charging that takes the battery from 0 to 80% in under 2 hours. The scooter is powered by a high-efficiency motor that delivers quick acceleration and a smooth, silent ride. It comes with multiple riding modes for better adaptability in traffic or longer rides.
On the tech front, the Bajaj Chetak 3503 features a full-color digital TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and OTA (over-the-air) updates. The scooter can be paired with a smartphone app to track location, monitor battery health, and schedule servicing. Build quality has been improved with better materials, and the scooter includes LED lighting, alloy wheels, and a front disc brake with CBS for enhanced safety.
Launched at a starting price of Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the Chetak 3503 will be available in multiple new color options and variants, including a premium edition with more tech features. Bajaj aims to expand its electric reach with this new model, targeting both urban commuters and style-conscious riders.
Bookings for the 2025 Bajaj Chetak 3503 have opened across all major cities starting today, with deliveries expected to begin by mid-May 2025. Bajaj also plans to expand its Chetak showroom network to over 250 cities by the end of the year to support the growing demand for electric two-wheelers.
