Honda Rebel 500 2025
The all-new 2025 Honda Rebel 500 debuts with upgraded features, refined styling, and BS6 Phase-2 compliance, catering to cruiser enthusiasts.
Honda has officially launched the 2025 edition of the Honda Rebel 500 in India, strengthening its presence in the mid-size cruiser segment. The new model retains its iconic bobber-inspired design but comes with key upgrades that enhance performance, comfort, and style.
The Rebel 500 2025 is powered by a 471cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine producing around 47 bhp and 43.3 Nm of peak torque. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the engine now complies with the latest BS6 Phase-2 emission norms, offering a smoother and more eco-friendly ride.
Visually, the motorcycle receives subtle updates with a new LED headlamp, improved seat cushioning, and fresh color options. It continues to feature a low-slung design, wide handlebars, and a comfortable riding triangle—making it ideal for both city rides and long cruising.
The riding experience of the 2025 Rebel 500 is tailored for comfort and stability. With a low seat height of just 690 mm, it remains highly accessible to new riders and those who prefer a confident flat-footed stance. The front suspension features 41 mm telescopic forks, while the rear gets dual shock absorbers, tuned for Indian road conditions.
Honda has also emphasized customization with this model. The Rebel 500 comes with a host of official accessories such as a pillion backrest, flyscreen, saddlebags, and fork gaiters, allowing riders to personalize their motorcycles easily. This makes it not just a city commuter, but a capable tourer as well.
The 2025 model also focuses on rider safety and convenience. The digital LCD display is backlit for easy visibility during day or night rides and displays essential information like gear position, fuel level, and trip data. Its dual-channel ABS ensures confidence during hard braking, especially in unpredictable road conditions.
In terms of competition, the Rebel 500 competes with the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650, Benelli 502C, and Kawasaki Vulcan S. However, Honda aims to attract buyers with its superior refinement, premium finish, and brand reliability.
The Rebel 500 appeals to a wide range of riders—from beginners to seasoned bikers—looking for a relaxed yet powerful cruiser with low maintenance and a strong resale value. Honda’s growing BigWing network will play a critical role in delivering this premium motorcycle experience to customers across major Indian cities.
As of the 2025 launch in India, the Honda Rebel 500 is priced at approximately ₹5.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
Please note: The final on-road price may vary depending on the city, registration charges, insurance, and additional accessories. Honda is offering the Rebel 500 through its BigWing dealerships across metro cities and key urban markets.
