The Mahindra XEV 9e Is An Upcoming Electric SUV That Showcases Mahindra’s focus on cutting-edge design and technology. It was unveiled alongside the BE 6e and is built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, a modular electric architecture designed for optimal performance and safety. The XEV 9e is expected to launch in early 2025, with prices starting at ₹21.90 lakh.
Key Features:
- Design: The XEV 9e features a coupe-like roofline, a futuristic front fascia with triangular headlamps, and connected tail lamps. It has aero wheels and an illuminated Twin Peaks logo for a modern aesthetic.
- Performance: The SUV offers a choice of two battery packs—59 kWh and 79 kWh—providing a range of up to 656 km. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.8 seconds and supports fast charging, reaching 80% charge in just 20 minutes with a 175 kW DC charger.
- Technology: The interior includes a triple-screen setup with three 12.3-inch displays, augmented by Mahindra’s advanced MAIA AI system. It also features ADAS Level 2+, advanced connectivity options like Wi-Fi 6 and 5G, and over-the-air (OTA) updates.
- Comfort and Safety: The XEV 9e includes semi-active dampers, brake-by-wire technology, and intelligent driver assistance systems. It also boasts features like an augmented-reality heads-up display and a Harman Kardon sound system with Dolby Atmos​.
The Mahindra XEV 9e aims to set new benchmarks in the Indian EV market, blending performance with advanced features and a luxurious cabin experience.
