The 2025 MG Astor car brings significant upgrades to its design, features, and powertrain. It now comes with a hybrid system, combining a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 100 kW electric motor, producing a total of 192 BHP and 343 Nm of torque. This hybrid system is designed for better efficiency, offering a mileage of up to 23.55 kmpl under real-world condition.
On the exterior, the Astor features a redesigned octagonal grille, new headlamps, and a sportier, sleeker look with a flat nose and longer bonnet. The interior has also been refreshed with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch digital driver display, leather upholstery, and modern amenities like a wireless charging pad, keyless entry, heated seats, and a 360-degree camera.
The SUV continues to emphasize safety with Level 2 ADAS features, including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and active emergency braking. The 2025 Astor is expected to launch in India by the end of 2024, with a starting price ranging from ₹12 to ₹20 lakh.
