The MG M9 2025 is an upcoming all-electric luxury MPV set to make its debut in the Indian market in March 2025. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, the M9 aims to redefine premium travel with its blend of advanced technology, spacious interiors, and sustainable performance.
Design and Dimensions
The MG M9 boasts a sleek, boxy design complemented by a prominent chrome grille and connected tail lamps, exuding a modern and sophisticated aesthetic. Measuring approximately 5.2 meters in length with a wheelbase exceeding 3 meters, the M9 offers ample space across its three-row seating configuration, comfortably accommodating up to seven passengers.
The interior is adorned with premium materials, featuring captain seats in the second row equipped with an Ottoman function for enhanced comfort. Dual digital displays on the dashboard and 64-color ambient lighting further elevate the cabin’s luxurious ambiance.
MG M9 2025 Performance and Battery
Under the hood, the MG M9 is powered by a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, delivering an electric motor output of 241 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. This setup enables a top speed of 180 km/h. The M9 offers a commendable range of up to 500 km on a single charge, making it suitable for both city commutes and long-distance journeys. Charging options include an 11 kW charger that replenishes the battery from 5% to full in approximately 8.5 hours, and a DC fast charging capability that charges from 30% to 80% in just 30 minutes.
Features and Technology
The M9 is equipped with a host of modern features designed to enhance convenience and safety. Notable amenities include automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) offering Level-2 autonomous driving capabilities. Safety is prioritized with seven airbags, ABS with EBD, and electronic stability control (ESC). Additionally, the vehicle features automatic sliding doors, providing ease of access for passengers.
Pricing and Availability
The MG M9 is expected to be priced around ₹70 lakh (ex-showroom) in India, positioning it competitively against rivals like the Toyota Vellfire and Kia Carnival. Pre-bookings are anticipated to commence shortly, with deliveries slated to begin by April 2025. The M9 will be available through select MG dealerships across the country.
