The VinFast VF6 2025 is a compact electric SUV that brings Vietnamese automaker VinFast further into the global EV spotlight. Designed to appeal to urban families and eco-conscious commuters, the VF6 combines sleek styling, advanced technology, and zero-emission performance in a highly approachable package. Positioned as a smart alternative to traditional compact SUVs, the VF6 is expected to enter key global markets, including India, with competitive pricing and feature-rich variants.

The 2025 VF6 is offered in two trims: Eco and Plus. The Eco model features a single electric motor delivering 174 hp and 250 Nm of torque, offering smooth and efficient city driving. The Plus variant upgrades to 201 hp and 310 Nm, providing more spirited acceleration and higher performance for highway or spirited use. Both variants come with a 59.6 kWh battery, with estimated driving ranges of approximately 399 km (Eco) and 381 km (Plus) on a full charge, according to WLTP standards.

Built on a modern EV platform, the VF6 features a futuristic yet functional design. The exterior sports sharp LED lighting, clean aerodynamic lines, and a bold front fascia with a V-shaped light signature unique to VinFast vehicles. Inside, the cabin is minimalist but premium, dominated by a large 12.9-inch touchscreen that controls nearly all vehicle functions. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard, along with over-the-air (OTA) update capabilities and integrated voice control.

The VF6 also includes a robust suite of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot detection, and rear cross-traffic alert. These features, along with a rigid chassis structure and comprehensive airbag system, contribute to a high safety rating in global crash tests.

Charging is supported via AC and DC fast charging, with the VF6 capable of reaching 70% battery capacity in roughly 30 minutes using a fast charger. Home charging options and a growing network of public stations aim to eliminate range anxiety for most users.

For India, where the EV market is rapidly maturing, the VF6 is expected to launch at an attractive price point in the Rs 25–30 lakh range, positioning it against competitors like the MG ZS EV, Hyundai Kona Electric, and Tata’s upcoming premium EVs. VinFast’s commitment to local manufacturing and customer service may further boost its appeal in a value-sensitive but tech-savvy market.
