The Mercedes-Benz CLA Electric is poised to make its debut in India around August 2025, with an expected starting price of approximately ₹65 lakh (ex-showroom) . Built on Mercedes’ new Modular Architecture (MMA), the CLA Electric features an 800V battery system that supports ultra-fast charging up to 320 kW, enabling rapid top-ups during long journeys . The CLA 250+ variant offers a WLTP range of up to 750 km, while the CLA 350 4MATIC delivers around 770 km, surpassing even the flagship EQS in range .
Technology & Interior
The CLA Electric debuts the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS), an AI-powered infotainment platform offering advanced voice control, over-the-air updates, and Level 2++ autonomous driving assistance . The interior is designed with a minimalist aesthetic, featuring a panoramic glass roof, ambient lighting, and a spacious cabin thanks to an extended wheelbase of 2790 mm .

Compared to its predecessor, the new CLA Electric has grown in size, measuring 4723 mm in length, 1855 mm in width, and 1468 mm in height, offering more headroom and legroom for passengers . The design includes a closed-off grille, LED lighting elements, and aerodynamic lines, enhancing both aesthetics and efficiency.

Thanks to its 800V architecture, the CLA Electric can achieve significant range with minimal charging time. The vehicle also features brake-by-wire technology, improving energy recuperation and overall efficiency .
