Lamborghini Temerario
Introducing Lamborghini’s first turbocharged V8 hybrid, the Lamborghini Temerario delivers 920 PS, accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and reaches a top speed of 343 km/h.
The 2025 Lamborghini Temerario marks a significant evolution in Lamborghini’s lineup, replacing the Huracán with a groundbreaking plug-in hybrid supercar. This model introduces a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors, delivering a combined output of 920 PS (approximately 907 hp) and 730 Nm of torque.
Performance-wise, the Temerario accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and achieves a top speed of 343 km/h. The hybrid system includes a 3.8 kWh lithium-ion battery, enabling plug-in capabilities and enhancing overall efficiency.
Design elements stay true to Lamborghini’s aggressive styling, featuring a wedge-shaped profile, sharp lines, and distinctive hexagonal DRLs. The interior and chassis have been reengineered for improved comfort and increased torsional rigidity, thanks to an all-aluminum spaceframe.
The Lamborghini Temerario is not just the successor to the Huracán — it marks a new era for the Italian marque as it moves decisively into hybrid performance. Developed under Lamborghini’s Direzione Cor Tauri electrification strategy, the Temerario combines brutal power with environmental responsibility, all while preserving the brand’s iconic driving DNA.
At its core, the Temerario is powered by a newly developed 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine that alone produces 800 PS. This is supported by three electric motors, one at the rear and two at the front, enabling advanced torque vectoring and all-wheel-drive capability. The result is a staggering combined output of 920 PS and a lightning-fast 0–100 km/h time of just 2.7 seconds.
The plug-in hybrid setup is not just for performance—it also provides up to 30 km of pure electric range for city driving, making the Temerario more versatile than any Lamborghini before it. The car also features a regenerative braking system and multiple driving modes, including EV-only and performance-enhancing hybrid modes.
Aesthetically, the Temerario retains Lamborghini’s trademark sharp lines and futuristic aerodynamics. The design is heavily influenced by aerospace and motorsport, with features such as an active rear wing, aggressive air intakes, Y-shaped LED lighting, and a low-slung profile. The interior boasts a completely digital cockpit, a new infotainment system with over-the-air updates, and enhanced materials for a more luxurious yet sporty feel.
Built on a newly developed aluminum spaceframe chassis, the Temerario is lighter and more rigid than its predecessor. With rear-wheel steering and magnetorheological dampers, it offers precise control and handling dynamics even at high speeds.
The Lamborghini Temerario has already launched in several global markets, including India, with deliveries expected to begin later in 2025. It competes directly with hybrid supercars like the Ferrari 296 GTB and McLaren Artura, but with Lamborghini’s unique flair and thunderous performance, the Temerario stands out as a true icon of next-generation driving.
In India, the Lamborghini Temerario is priced at Rs 6 crore (ex-showroom), positioning it as a premium offering in the supercar segment.
